The 1st Annual Sugar Rush 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run will be held May 10, 2008 at 10:00am in Terrell, Texas. The event will start at Ben Gill Park Pavilion at Ninth and Johnson. The race will take you through the historic homes on Elm Street as well as through the beautiful scenery in Terrell. The proceeds from the race will be donated to the National Cancer Institute to provide colon cancer research and awareness.
Runners are encouraged to celebrate their own life changing and renewing occasions such as overcoming cancer or honoring a special person in your life. These celebratory themes give each one of us a reason to run. Persons' of all ages are encouraged to take part. Awards will be given to the top 3 finishers in each age group listed below:
